When we take a look at LED lighting facilities, there comes some specifications, such as voltage ,frequency, power,Lumens, color temperature,IP,IK,glow-wire test, color index,PFC,and so on.
VOLTAGE ,FREQUENCY AND POWER
Let’s begin with voltage, frequency and power. These three are the basic description of a LED lighting.Voltage, electric tension or electric pressure is the electric potential difference between two points, or the difference in electric potential energy of a unit charge transported between two points.Voltage is equal to the work done per unit charge against a static electric field to move the charge between two points. What you should pay attention is thar different country have different voltage standard,so you must choose the right one.Frequency is the number of occurrences of a repeating event per unit time.Electric power, the rate at which electrical energy is transferred by a circuit.Electric power is the rate at which electrical energy is transferred by a circuit.A high power means a big electric consumption, but looks more bright. LED lights use lower power but brighter than traditional incandescent lights. What’s more ,it turns out environmental compared with incandescent lights.
LUMEN
Lumen,a measure of the total "amount" of visible light ,emitted by a source.A lux is one lumen per square meter. The lux (symbol: lx) is the unit of illuminance and luminous emitter, measuring luminous flux per unit area.Generally saying ,the luminous efficiency of a 40W LED light is about 3300 lumens, which is 10 times of incandescent light. In other words,a 4W LED spot light can replace 35W incandescent light. What a big progressive both in the lighting industry and energy saving.
Color temperature is the temperature of an ideal black body radiator that radiates light of comparable hue to that of the light source.Color temperatures over 5,000K are called cool colors (bluish white), while lower color temperatures (2,700–3,000 K) are called warm colors (yellowish white through red). You can choose the what you what,as different white give us different feeling.
IP
The IP Code, International Protection Marking,IEC standard 60529, sometimes interpreted as Ingress Protection Marking, classifies and rates the degree of protection provided against the intrusion (including body parts such as hands and fingers), dust, accidental contact, and water by mechanical casings and electrical enclosures. It is published by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).

IK
This code is an international numeric classification for the degrees of protection provided by enclosures for electrical equipment against external mechanical impacts. It provides a means of specifying the capacity of an enclosure to protect its contents from external impacts. The IK Code was originally defined in European Standard BS EN 50102 (1995, amended 1998). Following its adoption as an international standard in 2002, the European standard was renumbered EN 62262.

GLOW-WIRE TEST
This is the test about the working stability of electric products, especially in high temperature.
COLOR INDEX
Color index, which is original use in astronomy, is a simple numerical expression that determines the color of an object. When it is used in lighting,it means the similarity of the object under LED light compared with sun light. For example,if the COLOR INDEX is more than 80,that is saying the color of the object under the lamp is 80% similar with that under the sun light.
PFC
The power factor of an alternating current electrical power system is defined as the ratio of the real power flowing to the load, to the apparent power in the circuit, and is a dimensionless number between -1 and 1. Real power is the capacity of the circuit for performing work in a particular time. Apparent power is the product of the current and voltage of the circuit. Due to energy stored in the load and returned to the source, or due to a non-linear load that distorts the wave shape of the current drawn from the source, the apparent power will be greater than the real power. A negative power factor occurs when the device which is normally the load generates power which then flows back towards the device which is normally considered the generator.
